This program aims at reinforcing the fitness level of the students. It familiarizes the children with sports in a playful manner, in a safe environment, using games. The objective is to present the principles of a sport during a period of 6 weeks. Children of CE2, CM1, CM2 and 6ème (3rd to 6rd grade) develop their motor skills, being aware of their bodies and of the spatial environment. Occasionally, these activities can be connected to the school program.

This class is offered to all students from the CE2 (3rd grade). It aims at intensively preparing to the following exams: «Goethe Certificate A1 / Fit in German 1», «Goethe Certificate A2 / Fit in German 2», «Goethe Certificate B1» and «Goethe Certificate B2».
This class offers a combined learning as well as practices and independent exercises for “reading, oral understanding, writing and speaking” of the exam. Exercises are based on the common European framework for languages.

*NB: The “Intensive English Classes” and “Intensive German Classes” are designed for students who are bilingual or at a very high level, and who wish to continue their studies at a Swiss, bilingual or international school (depending on the case). It is not possible to join this group without at least a solid grounding in the required language.
At the start of the school year, there will be a trial session in the intensive German and English groups
For children whose level is not suited to the activity, we will offer to welcome them into the group « Creative, Fun, Sporting & Nature Activities».
Individual music lessons (all levels)
Piano

Schedule: The class schedule will be established directly with the teacher. Piano lessons are offered over 36 weeks.
Team: Mrs. Ebneter
Ms. Ebneter has taught piano for thirteen years at the National College of the Arts. She also made co-rehearsals for violin classes. She offers piano lessons for elementary school children (beginners and all levels). The teacher would like to meet with her students in June to assess their level and determine their needs. It is essential that the child has the opportunity to study at home.

Solo singing

Schedule: The class schedule will be established directly with the teacher. Solo singing lessons are offered over 36 weeks.
Team: Mrs Breuillot
Children learn to discover and develop their voices thanks to vocal and playful exercises. Little by little, they gain confidence in themselves and in their vocal potential. They sing a cappella, accompanied by a guitar or by an instrumental band. A typical session:
- Voice warm-up (posture, breathing, voice games)
- Vocal technics (placing the voice, articulation, sonorous projection)
- Rhythm placing
- Interpretation
- Audio and video recording
Notes on all extracurricular activities proposed :
- Extracurricular activities will start on the first day of class.
- Depending on the number of students or the availability of rooms, extracurricular activities may be subject to changes in days and times, or may be cancelled until the end of September.
- The desired activities will be defined at the beginning of the school year and will be valid for the whole year.
- No cancellations or exchanges of days or activities will be possible during the year. However, an additional activity may be chosen, provided there are still places available in the desired group.
