Children can play freely and get gently active before starting their day at school.

Playful and creative evening care

Price : CHF 650/year for a once a week registration
Schedules : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3:30pm to 5pm and / or 5pm to 6.30pm

Children are all day long attending various activities demanding focus, energy and patience. Our playful and creative workshop give them relaxing moments or, in the opposite, allow them to play while remaining in a secure environment that the children are used to. Going out to the park, DIY activities, group games, supervised activities or free play: a wide range of options.

Note: the playful and creative workshop provides drinks but snacks are to the parents’ attention.

Speaking workshop – French support

Price : CHF 850/year
Schedule : Monday from 3.30pm to 5pm
Team : Mrs Cuche

While playing, we bring to the children joy, happiness, fulfillment and motivation to learn or reinforce their French skills.

Proposed activities :
Using play areas, lullabies, images, books without text to tell stories. Practicing echo books (life stories about real situations that were photographed).

Card games, theatre, cooking, cooperative games… and many more.

Objectives :
Enrich the vocabulary. Develop language skills. Work on syntax and articulation. Improve speaking fluidity…

How ?
By performing the language activities in the context of real life situation, by living the situations, by experiencing. By creating for each child the greatest possible number of situations where verbal exchanges are required in order to produce rich and understandable conversations. By following the progress of each child.

“Let’s discover with nature” workshop

Price: CHF 850/year
Schedule : Monday from 3.30pm to 5pm
Team : Mrs Kern

The target is for the children to go out and get some fresh air (except under heavy rain), to play. We do various activities such as cooperative games, observing and collecting natural objects,  visiting farm animals, scavenger hunts, land art, ice skating in winter, yoga… Clothes adapted to the weather are indispensable (rain paints, rain coats with hood, boots).

English workshop

Price : CHF 850/year
Schedule : Tuesday from 3.30pm to 5pm

Children can follow an English class (optional). For Moyenne and Grande Sections, it is a true immersion in the English language. Along English stories, we discover vocabulary via images, repeated and integrated in listening and repetitive games. Children discover lullabies, songs and fingers games. We play educative games such as Memory, Bingo and other games helping with learning the vocabulary.

Dance workshop

Schedule : Tuesday from 3.30pm to 5pm

The target is to discover classical dance with simple movements, in a space following the rhythm of music.

German workshop

Price : CHF 850/year
Schedule : Thursday from 3.30pm to 5pm

In addition to the two weekly hours of learnign German, children can attend a German class (optional) taught by our teacher Melanie NIGLIS. Learning German at the maternelle happens thanks to poems, songs and lullabies. All along the year, different learnings and different steps follow one each other in order to let children acquire fundamentals such as introduce oneself, greet, thank, count, recognize colors…

Circus Art workshop

Price : CHF 850/year

The objective of these circus workshops is to allow children to develop their motor skills through the playful universe of circus (Balance and acrobatics games).

Yoga workshop / relaxation in German

Price : CHF 770/year
Schedule : Friday between 3.30pm to 5pm (two groups alternating 45 mins of class and 45 mins of child care)

German class via yoga, dance et gymnastics. We will create a series of yoga poses from stories and images. Stories and music inspire us to dance. Relaxation and breathing exercises help children relax and become aware of their bodies. Children try to describe their feelings after these exercises. Gymnastics bring the dynamic side. Little DIY activities are done in connection with the stories told.

Price: CHF 1600/year
Schedule : 1.30pm to 6.30pm
Team : Professionals specialized in young children care.

Wednesday afternoons are reserved to sports and play time.

Notes: parents can pick up their children from 5pm. If you have to come before 5pm, thank you for notifying the supervisors or secretariat in advance. Any exceptional registration must be announces before 12pm on the day before.

Moyenne Section and Grande Section : Swimming

Price : CHF 1800/year
Schedule : 1.30 to 4.30pm
Team : 1 swimming coach and 3 assistants specialized for young children

Children registered at the swimming class can either come back to school after the class until 6.30pm (at no additional charge), or leave from the swimming pool with a person authorized to pick them up.
